Well, I was asked to come out of retirement to do
a blog for our new Midwest Schipperke Rescue website. You know me I just can't resist helping rescue out. So here
I am. I don't know if you know but, I am 14-years-old now, so I don't move as fast anymore. But I will do my best
to keep you informed about whats going on at Midwest.
The 2011 National just ended on April 16th. I
want to congratulate all the winners. I heard everybody had a great time. They had a parade of veterans again
this year. I like the idea of the parade of veterans as it is open to all senior Schipperkes regardless of
pedigree. I entered it but, I was unable to attend this year due to Mom's business commitments. I did hear that
the parade of veterans had the largest entry, way to go fellow seniors.
I have been told that Midwest has
also applied for a grant to help us seniors live more comfortably. It is also a goal of Midwest to find forever homes
for some of the seniors that are long terms fosters because of age. Folks, just ask any of the families that have senior
dogs in their home we are the best. Age has only seasoned us for giving love and mutual respect.
the way do you like my picture? It was done by Phyllis Ensley last year at the National in Colorado.
Well that's all for now. Till next time.
